ZTE has launched its first foldable smartphones, dubbed as ZTE Axon M. It will be exclusively available by AT&T carrier of USA. It will be available starting next month. ZTE has also confirmed that the Axon M may be making its way to other markets including China, Europe, and Japan.
ZTE says it can be fit in a pocket easily when folded. This smartphone has four modes including Dual mode, which will allow users to use two different apps in the separate screens; Extended mode will stream email or allows users play games on a full 6.75-inch full-HD display; Mirror mode let users mirror the same content on both the screen when folded with both screens in different directions, and Traditional mode, allows users to use the device as a conventional smartphone.
The ZTE Axon M will be available at US $24.17 for 30 months on AT&T.
It features two 5.2-inch dual full-HD TFT LCD displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the handset is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC. It boasts 4GB RAM and packs 64GB inbuilt storage. There is a 20-megapixel single camera which can be used for rear and front-facing shots. The rear camera comes with f/1.8 aperture. Based on Google’s Android 7.1.2 Nougat, the phone packs a 3180mAh battery and features supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
The ZTE Axon M measures 150,8 x 71,6 x 12,1 mm, and weighs 230 gram. Adreno 530 GPU takes the care of graphics.
